MUST TRY!!! This place has such amazing Thai food! Their lunch special is such a steal. I love their pad thai special and their vegetable egg roll that comes with sweet & sour sauce. Soooo good! Their portions are huge and I love how it comes with salad, vegetable egg roll and a side of rice. The owner/male worker at the front is always so nice and sweet.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Thai Boom is not only my favorite Thai restaurant, it is my favorite restaurant in the entire state of California. First off, it is rare to find people who take pride not just in their food, but in their culture. Every time we have dined in, the staff have been so kind and accommodating to us. The service is excellent. Lunch and dinner specials have very large portion sizes. You have a megaton of options, whether you eat meat or prefer to go vegetarian. Again, there is something VERY, VERY special here, and it would be prudent to go check it out.

We came to Thai Boom for dinner, not knowing what to expect since Yelp reviews seemed to be hit or miss, but Google reviews seemed to be great. We got here a little less than an hour before they closed and we're seated immediately. The restaurant was empty so I was a bit nervous about what the quality of the food would be. However, I am happy to say that the two dishes I tried were very good! I ordered their Red Curry with vegetables and a bowl of brown rice, while my partner ordered a Pad Thai with Shrimp. The Curry was creamy and flavorful and there was an abundance of vegetables in my bowl. The bowl was pretty big as well, unlike some extra fancy places with tiny bowls of curry. I tried my partner's Pad Thai and it had the perfect amount of sweetness as well! I'd love to give this place another try in the future as there were a lot of items on their menu that look promising! Glad that it's close to home as well.

Hide in the Beverly Hills, on Robertson street. Thai boom is one of my favorite Thai restaurant because it feels back to a family restaurant where you can unload and get a cozy seat, close to the staff and even hearing the sound stir fries, of course, the food is still the spirit. Tonite, I am having the house noodle, the broth is clear and warm, the meatball is savory. Overall it's not a bad choice if u like something light. Well, I like its tranquility, if you enjoy the same atmosphere, why not come along, soak youself to pretend you are not in Los Angeles anymore. Maybe you are truly in somewhere in Bangkok. Xoxo A.
